Man held with fake notes

 

COOCH BEHAR, May 7: Police arrested one Manidul Haq of Chilakhana and seized 32 pieces of counterfeit currency notes of Rs 500 denomination from his possession on Tuesday evening. Police said, Haq went to Patlakhaoa to buy cattle where seeing the notes the locals got suspicious and handed him over to the police. On examination it was found that the notes were counterfeit ones. A probe started to know the actual origin of the fake notes. []
