New collectorate building

COOCH BEHAR, April 11: The divisional commissioner, Jalpaiguri, Mr Beharilal Meena will inaugurate the newly constructed District Collectorate Building in Cooch Behar on Saturday. The new building will house the district magistrate's office and offices of a few state government departments, Cooch Behar DM Mr Rajesh Kumar Sinha said. The Rs 1.80-crore building took about twelve years to get completed. It is situated beside the 'heritage' collectorate building on the west bank of Sagardighi. []
