HERITAGE POST OFFICE

The controversial hoarding in front of Cooch Behar Head Post Office. Cooch Behar Heritage Society demanded removal of it as it is not suitable in front of a historic construction that was declared as a heritage one. Department of Posts already released six philatelic stamps on heritage post offices of  India and Cooch Behar Head Post Office is one of them. The hoarding is likely to be removed by the authorities following the demand raised by CBHS.

Coochbehar , once very beautiful city now hardly doing justice to it's name.For example, just think about the zhupri hotel at Kachari more.There are lots of other examples too,if you have one , please share.
