Trinamul demonstration

 

COOCH BEHAR, Sept. 10: Trinamul Congress organised a daylong sit-in demonstration at the office of the block development officer in Mathabhanga-II block in Cooch Behar today. At the huge gathering the Trinamul leaders including the party's district president Mr Rabi Ghosh and vice-president Mr Niranjan Dutta demanded seizure of all fake job cards of National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, deletion of false names from the BPL list, adequate compensation to the affected potato growers and end of black-marketing of fertilizers. Later, they submitted a memorandum containing thirty-point charter of demands to the BDO. []
