Farmers' roadblock

 

COOCH BEHAR, July 25: Protesting against price hike of fertilisers a group of farmers staged roadblock at Kalachand near Dewanhat along the busy Dinhata-Cooch Behar road for about two hours today. Vehicular movement was disrupted due to the agitation. Later, the farmers lifted the blockade following assurances from the agricultural development officer of Cooch Behar-I block Mr Rajat Roy. []
