BJP team visits Dinhata

 

COOCH BEHAR, Feb. 20: Following BJP's declared plan to raise the Dinhata firing issue in the Parliament a fact finding team of the party visited Dinhata today. They talked with the family members of the deceased Forward Bloc activists who were killed in the police firing during a law violation programme on 5 February. The team members also talked with some eyewitnesses of the firing incident. They visited the place where the incident occurred on that day. President of Cooch Behar district unit of the BJP, Mr Nityananda Munshi said that they would submit a detailed report to the party's central leadership over the unprovoked police firing. []
