Border guards' initiative
COOCH BEHAR, Feb. 22: In order to strengthen the cordial relation and mutual trust with the border population along the Indo-Bangladesh border, a free medical camp was organised by 113-Battalion of the Border Security Force under Cooch Behar Sector at Char Balabhut Middle School near Madhya Balabhut border outpost in Tufanganj, Cooch Behar on Friday. Free medicines were also distributed at the camp.
Commandant of 113 Bn BSF, Mr Ajit Sudevan inaugurated the medical camp that was organised under the Civic Action Plan. About 750 people of bordering areas were examined and provided with medicines free of cost. Chief medical officer of BSF Dr AK Lakra and medical officer Dr Khurshid Alam did medical check up at the camp.
