BSF-BDR meet at Digaltari

COOCH BEHAR, Dec. 15: In order to strengthen relation between two border guarding forces, a commandant level flag meeting was held at Digaltari border outpost under Cooch Behar Sector today. Mr Ajit Sudevan (Commandant of 113 Bn BSF) and Col Suman Kumar Barua (27 BDR) presided the meeting.

 

During the meeting various issues related to border population and better border domination were discussed. Both the commanders agreed to extend full co-operation in dealing with trans-border crimes and thereby installing a sense of security among border population of both the countries. They agreed to settle minor disputes amicably arising in border belt. Simultaneous co-ordinated patrolling and joint verification of boundary pillars were also finalised during the meeting, BSF sources said. []
