Road mishap : 2 killed

 

COOCH BEHAR, Sept. 17: In a fatal road mishap two young men were killed on National Highway-31 in Pundibari of Cooch Behar today. It was learnt that Subhajit Guha Neogi (35) and Kaushik Narayan (31) were going towards Pundibari in a Maruti car at the early morning today. Near the Pundibari campus of the Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya their car rammed into a lamppost and then it hit a roadside tree. The two died on the spot. Police rescued the bodies and sent them to the MJN Hospital for post-mortem. Police are yet to know where the two young men were going at the early hours of the day. []
