Bereaved family members of NVF (National Volunteer Force) constable Krishnakanto Barman at their residence at Jagir Chilakhana village in Cooch Behar (West Bengal). Barman received serious head injury during the massive violence that occurred at Dinhata during the Forward Bloc's law-violation programme on Tuesday. He was on duty with police force. Five Forward Bloc activists were killed in police firing and many received bullet injury on that day.
